Pharmaceutical Barium Sulfate
Pharmaceutical Barium Sulfate is applicable for routine contrast imaging of the gastrointestinal tract. The product has heterogeneous particle sizes, exhibiting good adhesion and stability.
Description
Pharmaceutical Barium Sulfate grade number is PBS-80
Product Name: Pharmaceutical Barium Sulfate
CAS NO. : 7727-43-7
Product Grade: PBS-80
Description
PBS-80 is a barium sulfate(type II) for suspension product. The type II barium sulfate dry mixed suspension appears as a white powdery substance and has a fragrant smell. We make the dry mixed suspension by spray drying microcrystalline barium sulfate, which is produced through chemical synthesis methods. We then combine the barium sulfate with appropriate dispersants and flavor correctors. The average particle size (D50) is between 3.0um and 13.0um. It has stable chemical properties, no physiological toxicity, and can absorb X-rays. The human body does not absorb pharmaceutical barium sulfate, and it is excreted in feces in its original form.

Pharmaceutical Barium Sulfate for Routine GI Contrast Imaging
Introduction of Pharmaceutical Barium Sulfate
Pharmeutical Barium Sulphate is a safe and effective contrast agent for routine imaging of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. We use pharmaceutical barium sulfate in a variety of procedures, including barium swallows, barium enemas, and computed tomography (CT) scans of the abdomen and pelvis.
It has heterogeneous particle sizes, which ensures good adhesion and stability. This means that it will coat the GI tract evenly and provide clear and accurate images.
Our Pharmeutical Barium Sulphate is also easy to use and prepare. It is available in a variety of formulations, including powder, suspension, and paste. This makes it easy to choose the right formulation for your specific needs.
Benefits of Our Pharmeutical Barium Sulphate:
- Safe and effective for routine GI contrast imaging
- High-quality ingredients and manufacturing standards
- Heterogeneous particle sizes for good adhesion and stability
- Easy to use and prepare
- Available in a variety of formulations
How to Use Our Pharmeutical Barium Sulphate:
We administer pharmaceutical barium sulfate orally or rectally, depending on the type of procedure being performed.
If you are having a barium swallow, your doctor will ask you to drink a suspension of Pharmeutical Barium Sulphate. If you are having a barium enema, you will be given an enema containing Pharmaceutical Barium Sulfate.
Safety Information:
Our Pharmaceutical Barium Sulfate is generally safe for most people. However, there are a few potential side effects, such as constipation, diarrhea, and vomiting. These side effects are usually mild and go away on their own within a few days.
If you have any concerns about using Pharmeutical Barium Sulphate, please talk to your doctor.
